Spotted: Blair and Serena not in their heels?
Look! The Queen B. rocking some saddle-shoe looking sneakers!
I know some of the Shakers out there love Gossip Girl. And I love, er, shopping? 😉 The saddle shoes are sweet, and so are S’s boots. Whenever I catch this show, these girls are either in their school uniforms or really low-cut dresses. These are both good, wholesome looks that anyone can look good in.
Buy anything good lately? Like… Milkshakes? 😉

Following Malaysian law, Rihanna will perform covered up from the top of her chest, including her shoulders, to her knees. In the predominantly Muslim country, these are the guidelines for female performers. Sometimes Rihanna has over done it with her outfits (like below), but if she is as fashionably versatile as we all know her to be, no doubt she will be rockin’ out in something tasteful AND hot. Sometimes less skin can be more sexy, and the more you’re wearing, the more creative you can get, right?
She looked cute in this, but how can you dance around if you're worried about a wardrobe malfunction the whole time?! No movement = no fun!
The Pussycat Dolls’ concert organizers got fined $3,000 a few years ago for not following the rules over there, and people protested both Gwen Stefani’s and, get this, Avril Lavigne’s (whaaaaat?) concerts there because of that. Interesting. On one hand, you should be able to wear what you want, but don’t you think respecting your fans’s culture is important, too? Especially when they are the ones paying to see you, not the other way around. What do you think?
Rihanna’s show in Malaysia will have a 16,000 person capacity, and tickets are apparently selling quickly. You go, girl!
Elizabeth And James dress (by Mary-Kate & Ashley- you KNOW she would rock the what outta this with a sick belt)
Maybe she’ll pick up some new Asian or Muslim-inspired outfits/accessories when she’s there. Think she’ll be sporting something traditional?
some traditional Malaysian gear, according to Google. Beautiful!
Let’s see how she shakes. What do y’all think she’ll wear to the show? Whatever it is, hopefully it’ll be fly…

What were y’all’s New Year’s Resolutions? I know some of you out there made some.
Here are a bunch of indie, er, “celebs” and other interesting ppl, telling NYLON TV their resolutions. Watch it. Pharell’s in it! 😉
Everything from learning more English (Boa! my girl!), to not screwing the year up, coping with getting older, not eating too many Reese’s, getting health insurance, getting a driver’s license (AHEM, Charlotte Ronson!!), and alot more.
Some personal ones: take care of myself, by eating MORE Reese’s =)
What are yours? We won’t tell anyone 😉

Happy New Year, shakers!
So a while ago, we thought Hillary Clinton would be bringing her headband back:
courtesy of NY Mag, back in November
I thought she was channeling her inner 90s Hillary, or at least being inspired by the ultimate Queen B, herself, Blair Waldorf:
The one and only!
Hillary didn’t stick with it, and, I think I’m kinda glad. Still on headbands, in general, though.
Hmm, think you’ll still be rockin’ ’em in 2009? Keep your eyes peeled!
