Watch out because Amanda Diva is currently working on a new mixtape, titled Spandex, Rhymes & Soul, set for release March 3rd, featuring original production by Chuck Inglish (of The Cool Kids), Green Lantern, Droop-E, Jay Electronica and more.  She is also hosting the second season of her Internet comedy show, “Diva Speak TV” (which she describes as a cross between Dave Chappelle and “The Colbert Report”), and is a commentator on VH1 network.  She was recently announced as the new spokeswoman for Karma Loop TV and will be launching a new program called Diva, Diva Y’all on Karmaloop.com this month.  Look out for her performance at SXSW in Austin, TX in March.

Sex and The City Movie Sequel

All of you die hard Sex and The City fans out here got your wish. YES! There will be a Sex and The City movie Part II. Sadly there has been some reports that “Carrie Bradshaw” would not be returning in this flick. Late 2009 is when they’re suppose to start filming.

Rihanna takin’ cover in Malaysia

Following Malaysian law, Rihanna will perform covered up from the top of her chest, including her shoulders, to her knees. In the predominantly Muslim country, these are the guidelines for female performers. Sometimes Rihanna has over done it with her outfits (like below), but if she is as fashionably versatile as we all know her to be, no doubt she will be rockin’ out in something tasteful AND hot. Sometimes less skin can be more sexy, and the more you’re wearing, the more creative you can get, right?

She looked cute in this, but how can you dance around if you're worried about a wardrobe malfunction the whole time?! No movement = no fun!

The Pussycat Dolls’ concert organizers got fined $3,000 a few years ago for not following the rules over there, and people protested both Gwen Stefani’s and, get this, Avril Lavigne’s (whaaaaat?) concerts there because of that. Interesting. On one hand, you should be able to wear what you want, but don’t you think respecting your fans’s culture is important, too? Especially when they are the ones paying to see you, not the other way around. What do you think?

Rihanna’s show in Malaysia will have a 16,000 person capacity, and tickets are apparently selling quickly. You go, girl!
